Peuteropvang Dikkie Dik

Peutergroep Dikkie Dik is located at Plaza 125 in Huissen and forms part of the Brede School Binnenstebuiten. We provide day care for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. Our setting is an official Early Childhood Education (VE) site and works with weekly themes. We challenge children to explore and experiment so they can develop their talents; the ultimate goal is a smooth transition to primary school. Our qualified staff offer a broad and varied programme: arts & crafts, reading aloud, singing and physical activities are on the daily schedule. In a playful way we stimulate language development, motor skills and social abilities. Children naturally learn to cooperate, stand up for themselves and help each other. We have one cosy group room that is fully tailored to the needs of toddlers. For extra movement the children can use the gym that is also shared with the kindergarten classes.
