Welcome to Peuteropvang De Triangel, located inside Basisschool De Triangel at Gerard Terborghstraat 1 in Enschede. We provide a safe and stimulating environment where toddlers aged 2 to 4 are playfully prepared for primary school. Our setting operates two horizontal groups: Group Ukkies (1 morning and 1 afternoon session) and Group Pukkies (2 mornings). Morning sessions run from 8.15/8.30 AM to 12.30/1.15 PM and afternoon sessions from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM. We are closed on Friday afternoons. Developing social and language skills is central to our approach. Our pedagogical staff coach each child towards independence, ensuring a smooth transition to group 1. We focus on playing together and building self-confidence. Every day, all toddlers are introduced to the English language: with the help of our puppet Benny, they learn English words, songs and rhymes in a playful way that perfectly matches their world of experience. Our spacious and bright group rooms are furnished with natural materials that invite exploration and play. We work thematically, offering activities tailored to the age and development of the toddlers. These include creative activities such as crafts and drawing, as well as language and reading activities. Fresh fruit is provided daily as a healthy snack. Outside, children can play on our safe and challenging toddler playground, where they can release energy and develop their motor skills. Thanks to our unique location within the school building, our toddlers become familiar with the primary school environment through play. This makes the transition to kindergarten familiar and relaxed. We collaborate closely with the primary school, ensuring a warm and continuous line in your child's development. Your toddler will grow into a confident child who takes the next step in their school career with pleasure and confidence.
