Peuteropvang De Sterrekijker

Welcome to Peuteropvang De Sterrekijker, part of the Christian Integrated Child Centre (IKC) De Sterrekijker located at Boogschutter 71 in Dordrecht. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4, where play, discovery and development are central. Our team of qualified pedagogical staff challenges the children every day to learn new things and discover their talents. Rooted in our Christian identity, we create a safe and familiar environment. We introduce the children to Christian traditions and stories that play an important role in our culture. During playtime the children are offered various fruits and water. Weekly movement lessons and plenty of outdoor play are part of the programme. In a playful way the children work towards the H3O ‘Movement Diploma’, which not only stimulates motor development but also social and emotional skills. Our toddler care uses a pre-school programme (VVE) that supports language and speech development. We work in horizontal groups, allowing children to play and learn with peers of the same age. The care is available on weekdays during several sessions; you can choose half-days or a fixed number of mornings per week. There are a maximum of 16 places available. Registration is possible via our website or during one of our information mornings. We look forward to welcoming you and your child!
