Peuteropvang de Rakkertjes

Peuteropvang De Rakkertjes is located at Anjelierstraat 9 in Weert and is part of IKC 3Hoven. We welcome children aged 2 to 4 who attend two to four mornings a week. Our spacious, naturally designed indoor and outdoor areas invite children to explore and move. We follow a fixed daily rhythm that begins in a circle, after which children choose where they want to play using choice cards. In this playful way they meet other children and practice living and working together. Our activities are aimed at letting toddlers learn through play. We have a home corner, construction corner, arts & crafts corner and a sand table. We regularly cook or bake together and go outside as much as possible to climb, clamber and play in the green maze. Every week we change the theme so that the offer continues to match the children’s developmental stage. Our VVE-trained pedagogical staff provide a warm, safe environment in which every child feels welcome and can be who he or she is. Together with parents we give children the space to discover themselves and life and to grow and flourish optimally.
