Kinderdagverblijf 't Nestje

Welcome to daycare ’t Nestje, part of SKRS, located at Koetenburgweg 12 in Dirkshorn. In this homely setting we provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our group is horizontally structured: the youngest children (0-2 years) are cared for separately from the toddler group (2-4 years), ensuring each age receives exactly what it needs. We follow the rhythm of home. For babies this means breastfeeding or bottle-feeding according to your wishes and sleep schedules that match your familiar routine. For toddlers and preschoolers we adapt as much as possible to your habits. Toddlers receive a seasonal soup in the morning, a warm meal at midday and fresh fruit in the afternoon. The first bites for babies we prepare ourselves: vegetable or fruit purée, or food with pieces following the Rapley or “Kleintjes” method. Everything is delivered fresh daily by A-Malop. Our spacious, green outdoor area invites children to play and discover every day. The very youngest have a separate, safe outdoor section. Inside there is a separate sleeping room with cots and cradles, so every child can rest whenever needed. We offer Early Childhood Education (VVE) for toddlers aged 2-4. This toddler programme focuses on language, numeracy and social skills and eases the transition to primary school. Our permanent team consists of Iris, Maaike, Celine and Victoria. Together we ensure every child feels seen and secure. We love silliness, cosy chats and above all enjoying every day together.
