Welcome to Peuteropvang De Kleine Musketiers, our cozy and small-scale toddler daycare located at Chopinstraat 1 in the heart of Elst. We provide a warm and safe environment for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years where development takes center stage. With a maximum of 16 children per session and two dedicated pedagogical staff members, we create a homely atmosphere where each child has the space to develop at their own pace. Our toddler daycare follows the Kaleidoscoop method, a proven pedagogical concept specifically developed for young children's development. This method focuses on the broad development of children where we work on language skills, social skills and independence through play. We offer structured activities such as crafts, reading aloud and singing, tailored to the world of experience of toddlers. Due to our small-scale setup, we have intensive and personal contact with all parents. We believe it's important that you as a parent remain involved in your child's development. Daily there is room for consultation and you can discuss your child's progress with our pedagogical staff. We regularly organize parent meetings and informal moments where parents can meet each other. Our location is situated in Elst North-East, adjacent to the city center and right behind the church. The location is easily accessible from the shopping street (Dorpsstraat) and offers sufficient parking facilities. We have a safe indoor space with different play corners and a protected outdoor area where children can play and discover. The play corners are equipped with age-appropriate toys and materials that stimulate imagination. We provide preschool education (VE) through which we prepare toddlers for primary school. Our activities are designed to stimulate the development of language, mathematics and social skills. We work with themes that connect to the world of experience of toddlers and use recognized methodologies for this. During play, children learn to interact with other children, recognize and express their emotions, and develop their independence. Our opening hours are flexible and tailored to parents' needs. We offer both morning and afternoon care, where children attend two fixed sessions per week. This provides peace and continuity in your child's development. During the care moments, play is central, using natural materials and toys that stimulate creativity.
