Peuteropvang de Kladdegatjes has been a trusted place for toddlers on the beautiful island of Marken for over 40 years. We are located in our own classroom within the De Rietlanden school building at Buurterstraat 3. Children are welcome from their second birthday until they turn four and start primary school. We operate under the umbrella of Sportify Kids, creating a beautiful connection with both the De Beertjes daycare center and De Rietlanden primary school. We are open three mornings per week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This morning care is perfect for toddlers to grow and develop through play. We provide a safe, homely environment where every child can be themselves. Our professional pedagogical staff have an eye for each child's unique character and stimulate their natural developmental drive. At our center, everything revolves around toddler development in motor, social, emotional and language areas. We work with preschool education (VVE), giving extra attention to children who need it. We do this through targeted activities that connect with toddlers' world of experience. We combine sports activities with creative development, with movement and play at the center. Children have all the space to discover, experiment and learn to play together. Our location accommodates up to 16 toddlers, allowing us to work on a small scale and personally. We believe it's important that children can safely attach and discover something new every day. Due to our location within the school building, toddlers already get to know the school environment through play, making the transition to primary school easier. We work closely with parents, as together we can optimally support each child's development.
