Welcome to Peuteropvang De Kinderkamer Vuren, located at Esdoornlaan 4 in Vuren. We offer a small-scale, safe and familiar toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 from Vuren, Gorinchem and the surrounding area. In a calm, homely environment toddlers develop playfully until they are ready for primary school. Our toddler care is open during school weeks (40 weeks per year). We work with fixed groups on fixed days and times, so your child always sees the same faces and you as a parent know exactly what to expect. This predictability provides recognition and peace of mind. Parents are actively involved in their child’s development, for example regarding toilet training and self-reliance. Peuteropvang De Kinderkamer uses the recognised Early Childhood Education programme ‘Verrijken met Kiki’. This programme specifically targets language, numeracy, motor skills and social-emotional development. VVE children attend four half-days per week. Through VE conversations we discuss goals together with parents and monitor each child’s progress. Our location is situated in the Broad School building of CBS Het Kompas. This collaboration makes the transition to primary school smooth: your child already knows the building and many faces. The group 1 teachers and our toddler care team carefully coordinate the handover.
