Peuteropvang de Fonkeling

Welcome to Peuteropvang de Fonkeling, located at Doyennéperenlaan 1 in the heart of Vleuten. We are part of Kind&Co ludens, the largest non-profit childcare organisation in the Netherlands. Our focus is on equal developmental opportunities and a warm, safe place where toddlers aged 2.5 to 4 can grow with confidence. Our setting offers pre-school education (VE) through the recognised Piramide programme. In a playful, thematic way we work on language skills, social-emotional and motor development. Think of singing, story time, drawing and discovering in our cosy, themed play corners. We explore the seasons, traffic, living and health, so your child learns new words and understands the world around them. We play outside in our secure, fenced garden and regularly go on outings to the library or nature, allowing the children to indulge their curiosity. Each child’s development is recorded with the KIJK! method, so parents can see exactly what their son or daughter can already do. We follow fixed daily routines and start every morning together: we discuss the day using daily-rhythm cards, sing a welcome song and share the plan. This gives every child clarity about what to expect and creates calm and structure. Because Peuteropvang de Fonkeling is integrated into the De Fonkeling primary school building, the children become familiar with the school environment at an early age. The transition to the kindergarten class is therefore smooth and natural. Together with our dedicated pedagogical staff we give your child a sparkling start!
