Peuteropvang De Duif

Peuteropvang De Duif is located in a bright, spacious room inside Kindcentrum De Duif at Mariënstein 180, Heiloo. We welcome toddlers in two fixed groups: Monday & Thursday mornings and Tuesday & Friday mornings. Each group has a maximum of 16 children and is organised horizontally, so your child always plays and learns with peers of the same age. Our staff are trained in Early Childhood Education and follow the Uk & Puk programme. Every morning centres on a new theme that matches the world of young children. Through play-based learning the toddlers develop language, numeracy and social-emotional skills, while expanding their vocabulary and motor abilities. Daily routines include circle time, construction corners, arts & crafts, singing, story time and plenty of outdoor play. The room is clearly laid out with different corners for play or quiet time. We have our own safe section of the school playground, equipped with a swing, climbing frame and sandpit, where children can run, climb and explore every day. Fruit and drinks are included; we are happy to discuss any special dietary needs with parents. Because we are located inside the child centre, toddlers regularly meet older pupils. These encounters make the move to primary school feel smaller and more familiar. Together we lay a solid foundation for primary education and give your child a flying start.
