Welcome to Peuteropvang De Draakjes, located at Pastoor Maasstraat 15a in the heart of Heeswijk-Dinther. As part of Stichting Humankind, we have been providing trusted childcare for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years for over 25 years. Our location is centrally situated and easily accessible, with ample parking facilities for parents. At De Draakjes, we believe that every child is unique and develops at their own pace. We provide a safe and secure environment where toddlers can play, discover and grow. Our spaces and materials are fully tailored to the toddler age, with different corners that invite play and development. We work with small groups so we can give individual attention to each child. Our pedagogical approach is designed to give children self-confidence and stimulate their curiosity. We offer Early Childhood Education (VVE), where we work playfully on language development and other skills that are important for primary school. We find it important that children feel comfortable with us, because only then can they learn and grow optimally. Healthy nutrition is high on our priority list. We serve fresh fruit and healthy snacks daily. During the morning bread meal, we ensure healthy topping options. We take into account any allergies and dietary requirements of individual children. Children receive sufficient drinks throughout the day. Outdoor play is an important part of our daily program. We have a spacious, safe outdoor playground where children can run, climb and discover. The garden is equipped with various play equipment and shaded seating areas. In good weather, we spend a lot of time outside, because fresh air and exercise are essential for toddler development. We work closely with parents and find parental involvement very important. There is always room for consultation and we regularly inform parents about their child's development. We offer flexible childcare options, including half-days, to meet parents' wishes.
