Prokino De Cirkel POV

Welcome to Peuteropvang de Cirkel, located at Prins Bernhardstraat 11 in the heart of Assen. We are part of Stichting Prokino Kinderopvang and provide professional toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years. Our goal is to optimally prepare your child for primary school through play-based learning. We work with the Early Childhood Education (VE) program "Uk & Puk". In this program, your toddler experiences various adventures together with puppet Puk. Puk talks with the children and stimulates them through fun games to further develop socially and emotionally. At the same time, Puk supports your child's language development and motor skills. The activities are always aligned with the theme of the moment, allowing your child to discover and develop new skills in a playful way. At Peuteropvang de Cirkel, we believe it's important that your child feels safe and secure. Our pedagogical staff are specialized in guiding toddlers and provide each child with the personal attention they need. We work in small groups, allowing us to respond well to the individual development and needs of your child. We regularly organize fun excursions and activities that connect with our themes. Think of visits to the library or fun performances. These activities make learning even more enjoyable and offer your child new experiences and stimuli. The transition from our toddler care to primary school is smoothly arranged. We work closely with Basisschool De Cirkel, with whom we share the same themes. This way, your child becomes playfully familiar with the school environment and school structure. We provide care on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 8:30 to 12:30. You can come to us for both regular care and care with a VE indication. For children with a VE indication, we pay extra attention to the Dutch language: speaking, listening and learning new words.
