Peuteropvang De Bothoven is located in the same building as public Freinet primary school De Bothoven at Reudinkstraat 15 in Enschede. We provide care for up to 31 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our unique concept is the combined toddler-preschooler group where toddlers and preschoolers play and learn together. This vertical group structure provides toddlers with extra challenges from older children, while preschoolers learn how to help the younger ones. This contributes to a smooth preparation for primary school. Our approach is inspired by Freinet pedagogy, where the child's world of experience is central. We work with themes that connect to the children's own experiences and curiosity. Daily attention is given to language development through language-oriented activities and play. Children can move freely in our spacious gym and get creative in the studio space. We offer a safe and stimulating environment where every child can develop at their own pace. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Diapers, healthy food and drinks are included in our price.
