Peuteropvang de Bareel is part of Kindcentrum De Bareel, located at Waddenlaan 1 in Heemskerk. We provide care for toddlers aged 2 years and 3 months to 4 years in a safe and familiar environment. Our toddler care operates with two fixed groups, each with a maximum of 16 children. Every group is guided by two qualified pedagogical staff members. Opening hours are from 08:15 to 12:15 on all school days. During school holidays, national holidays, and three study days, the toddler care is closed. We follow a clear pedagogical policy focused on calm, structure, and development. Through play, we stimulate your child’s development in areas such as language, motor skills, social-emotional abilities, and independence. We offer pre-school education (VE) using recognized developmental programs. Our professionals receive annual training to keep their knowledge and skills in toddler and VE care up to date. The location has its own playground where children play and move outdoors daily. Music and movement are key elements of our program. We sing, dance, and make music with the children. We also work with themes that connect to the toddler’s world of experience. The transition to the kindergarten group is prepared through a customized introduction program, so your child becomes familiar with the school environment and future classmates. Parents are actively involved in their child’s development. We collaborate, think together, and learn together. We regularly inform you about your child’s progress and discuss how we can support development both at home and at the toddler care.
