Peuteropvang de Ballon

Peuteropvang de Ballon is located at the Asylum Seekers Centre (AZC) on Vossemeerdijk 40 in Dronten. We provide a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 4 who live at the AZC. Together with the COA (Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers), we ensure that every child quickly feels at home, even if a family only stays on the location for a short time. Our group is small and homely: a maximum of 16 children at a time. Due to the cultural diversity, children learn new stories, languages and customs every day. Our team of pedagogical staff guide the toddlers with great attention and warmth, so that they develop through play and the transition to primary school goes smoothly. We work with pre-school education (VE) and offer activities that match the world of experience of young children. Think of reading aloud, singing, crafts and playing in the group. Because the composition of the group varies, we strongly focus on security: every child must feel seen and loved, regardless of how long they are with us.
