Peuteropvang Cunera

Peuteropvang Cunera is located in the annex for groups 1 and 2 of Cunera Primary School at Professor Winklerlaan 2 in Castricum-Bakkum. We are a small-scale toddler care centre with room for up to 15 children per day in a safe and familiar setting. As part of Stichting Forte Kinderopvang – active in North Holland for more than 50 years – we work closely with the school to create one continuous line between education and childcare. Our toddler care is aimed specifically at children aged 2 to 4. By engaging in active play together we stimulate speech and language skills, social-emotional development, and motor and sensory abilities. We provide Early Childhood Education (ECE), giving children the very best foundation for their future school career. Activities are tailored to the world of toddlers: we use themes, sing, craft and make extensive use of the outdoor space. The groups are horizontally structured, so children play with peers of the same age. Our regular pedagogical staff know every child well and closely follow each child’s development. Parents appreciate the seamless cooperation with the school: handovers are quick and the environment feels secure and familiar. At Peuteropvang Cunera children are free to be themselves and are given every opportunity to grow in an environment that both challenges and stimulates them.
