Peuteropvang Borgharen

Welcome to Peuteropvang Borgharen, part of Samen Spelen Kinderopvang. Located at Schoolstraat 15 in the heart of Borgharen, we offer four mornings a week a safe and stimulating place for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4. With us, everything revolves around learning through play. A day at our centre starts at 8:30 with a warm welcome. Your toddler chooses what to play with: the home corner, the construction area or one of the other themed corners we regularly change. Afterwards we sit in a circle. We sing together, make music and listen to a story. Our pedagogical staff use this moment to stimulate language and teach new words. Around 9:30 it's time for a healthy fruit moment. We cut fresh fruit and vegetables and teach the children to taste and share. Then we go outside. In our own garden we climb and clamber, play in the sandbox and use natural materials. In bad weather we use a gym, so movement is always possible. Around 11:00 we serve a healthy snack such as a rice cake or yoghurt. In between we take photos and post a message in the parent portal, so you as a parent can see what your child has experienced. We work with themes that connect to the world of experience of toddlers. Think of seasons, animals, traffic or emotions. Peuteropvang Borgharen is connected to early childhood education (VE). This means we work specifically on the development of language, numeracy and social skills. In a playful way we learn to count to 5, recognise colours and practice playing and sharing together. The transition to primary school becomes much smaller. Our opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:30 to 12:30. You can choose from 2, 3 or 4 sessions per week. We are closed during school holidays and public holidays. Our location is small-scale and clear, exactly what toddlers need to feel safe and secure.
