Peuteropvang Blink

Welcome to Peuteropvang Blink, located at Kweektuinlaan 11 in the Tuinlanden district of Vleuten. We provide toddler care for children aged 2.5 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment, right next to primary school Blink. Our toddler group follows the recognised Uk & Puk method, introducing a new theme every six weeks—such as ‘the hospital’, ‘the pharmacy’ or ‘the forest’. Within each theme we stimulate every area of development: we sing songs, read aloud, draw, play games and spend lots of time outside in our own playground. The play corners are adapted to match the theme, allowing children to learn through play. Peuteropvang Blink is a pre-school education (VE) location. Children with a VE indication receive extra attention to Dutch language skills: speaking, listening and learning new words. At this young age children absorb language quickly and easily, so they start primary school well prepared. We tailor activities to each child’s developmental level and work closely with the reception class of primary school Blink. The door to the reception classroom is literally open, making the transition to the infant group smooth and familiar. Our group is small-scale: a maximum of 16 children per day. We work with consistent pedagogical staff who know every child well. There is plenty of room for play, imagination and social interaction. We believe it is important that children feel safe and welcome so they can develop to their full potential.
