Peuteropvang abn basisschool De Buitenkans

Peuteropvang a.b.n. basisschool De Buitenkans is located inside primary school De Buitenkans at Fluessen 8, Heerenveen. We provide small-scale, same-age groups for up to 16 toddlers aged 2–4. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, we see every child as rich in potential and “a hundred languages”. Each day children sing songs, read books and explore changing themes that connect to their world. We foster independence, collaborative play and learning through play in a naturally designed space that opens directly onto a green outdoor playground. Our programme includes structured early-education activities (VVE) to ensure a smooth transition to primary school. Short outings to the local library or neighbourhood are part of the experience. Fresh fruit, drinks and a healthy bread meal are provided, with attention to allergies.
