Welcome to De Peuterkorf toddler care in Onstwedde. We are located in the multifunctional center De Bast, which also houses primary school De Rank and the secondary education of Ubbo Emmius. Our location at Boslaan 18 provides a safe and stimulating environment for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. At De Peuterkorf, we work with horizontal group structure, where children of the same age come together. We provide preschool education for toddlers aged 2.5 to 4 years, offering extra guidance to optimally prepare them for primary school. Our pedagogical staff create a warm and safe environment where your child can develop through play and discovery. Children can play, do crafts, use the toy lending service, eat and drink, discover, make music, and enjoy outdoor play. We have our own outdoor space where children can romp and discover nature. Additionally, we organize special activities such as toddler groups every other week on Tuesday mornings from 8:30 to 10:30 AM, where parents can participate with their toddlers in various activities. We believe it's important that parents are involved in their child's development. Therefore, we organize special sessions such as in December when all moms can stay for a morning at the toddler care, in February when all dads can visit with their toddler on a Saturday, and in May when all grandparents are welcome. During these moments, we love to show what a morning at our toddler care looks like. We also collaborate with the primary school by inviting grade 7 students every two months to read to our toddlers. Four students then spend a quarter of an hour with groups of four toddlers in a corner to read and chat.
