Peuterhoek

Peuteropvang De Peuterhoek is located in Kindcentrum De Samenstroom at Rie Mastenbroekplein 2a in Hellevoetsluis-West. We are part of De Kinderkoepel and provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4. Within the centre, education, childcare, care and treatment flow seamlessly together under one roof, so every child can find a safe, familiar and challenging place close to home. At De Peuterhoek we work with four toddler groups. A placement always consists of a fixed combination of a morning and an afternoon session. The possible combinations are: Monday afternoon & Thursday morning, Monday morning & Thursday afternoon, Tuesday afternoon & Friday morning or Tuesday morning & Friday afternoon. Mornings run from 8:15 am to 12:00 pm, afternoons from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm. For children who need additional pre-school education (VVE), there is an extended Wednesday morning session from 8:15 am to 1:45 pm. Our programme is designed to prepare toddlers for primary school through play. We use the VVE programme ‘Startblokken’ to stimulate language development, motor skills and social skills. The groups are small and manageable, so every child receives the attention they deserve. We work with fixed pedagogical staff who know what motivates and develops your child. Thanks to the collaboration with the adjacent Montessori school and the other partners in the children’s centre, the handover and transition to primary education is smooth and familiar.
