Peuteropvang Waterwin

Peuteropvang Waterwin is located in the heart of Utrecht Leidsche Rijn, at Musicallaan 104. We provide care for toddlers aged 2.5 to 4 years in two horizontal groups, welcoming up to 32 children at a time in a safe and stimulating setting. Our home is situated in the Waterwin building, together with primary schools Hof ter Weide and Waterrijk, giving children an early taste of the smooth transition between childcare and education. We follow the Pedagogisch Hart of Kind&co ludens. Every day we make sure your child feels safe and seen, so there is room to grow and discover. Our pedagogical staff offer a rich environment with different play corners, a private outdoor area and a shared play hall. This allows your child to learn new things through play and follow his or her natural curiosity. Themes are central to our daily activities. We sing songs, read aloud, draw, craft and spend plenty of time outside. The Startblokken method helps us to stimulate each child’s development in a targeted way. Because Peuteropvang Waterwin is designated as an early-education (VE) location, we pay extra attention to the Dutch language: speaking, listening and learning new words. We do this because young children absorb language quickly and easily, giving them a flying start at primary school. We are closed during school holidays. On all other days we welcome your toddler with open arms in a homely environment where fun, development and togetherness are at the heart of everything we do.
