Peuteropvang Warmoes

Peuteropvang De Warmoes is located in a characteristic building at Bollenhofsestraat 138 in Utrecht Noordoost, in the Wittevrouwen district. As part of Kind&co ludens, we offer a safe and familiar place where toddlers aged 2 to 4 can prepare for primary school. Our setting is a large historic building with plenty of space to play, discover and grow. We provide pre-school education (VE), paying extra attention to the Dutch language: speaking, listening and learning new words. We do this because young children absorb language quickly and easily. In a playful way, we practise language skills through reading aloud, singing, language games and conversations. This gives every child a solid foundation for a flying start at primary school. The daily programme is set up thematically. The layout of the space, the activities and play materials are all linked to the current theme. In the large group room, you will find different corners that invite children to play and discover. We have a small gym where we regularly organise movement activities and an atelier where children can express their creativity with paint, clay and other materials. Outside, there is a safe, enclosed playground with play equipment for climbing, clambering, scootering and roller-skating. Our team consists of experienced pedagogical staff who know how important a warm, stable environment is. The atmosphere in the group is homely and friendly. We find it essential that children and parents feel at home with us. Therefore, open communication and trust are central to our approach. Every child is allowed to be themselves and is given the space to develop at their own pace.
