Peutergroep 't Rozenpoortje

Peutergroep ’t Rozenpoortje is located at Ridder van Catsweg 256a in Gouda and is part of Quadrant Kindercentra. We provide anthroposophical toddler care for up to 16 children aged 2 years and 3 months to 4 years. Our programme runs Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. We follow the anthroposophical vision of Rudolf Steiner, which views the child as a being encompassing body, soul and spirit, developing in seven-year phases. In our toddler group we offer a safe, homely environment where your child can grow through play. The rooms are carefully furnished with natural materials and warm colours that stimulate the senses without being overwhelming. Pre-school education is an important part of our approach. We use the anthroposophical VE programme 'Speelplezier', which focuses on your child's broad development. Activities stimulate speech and language skills, social-emotional development, fine and gross motor skills, and provide first mathematical stimuli. We consider each child's individual pace and offer extra support where needed. Our daily rhythm is calm and predictable. We start with a communal moment, followed by free play. During the bread-baking activity, children make fresh bread together which we share. Each child brings a piece of fruit that we prepare and eat together. These activities are not only practical but also contribute to social skill development and community awareness. The pedagogical staff at ’t Rozenpoortje are specialised in the anthroposophical approach and regularly attend training. They carefully observe the children and tailor activities to the group's needs. We work with consistent caregivers who build strong relationships with your child, contributing to feelings of safety and security. We value parental involvement. There is space for parent conversations and we regularly organise information mornings about anthroposophical education. Parents unfamiliar with this vision are also warmly welcome.
