Peutergroep Pino

Peutergroep Pino is a small-scale toddler group located in the Lindenholt neighborhood at Zellersacker 1105 in Nijmegen. We are part of KION, an organization with over 40 years of experience providing professional childcare in Nijmegen and the surrounding area. Our location is specifically designed for children aged 2 to 4 years and offers a safe and familiar environment where toddlers can play, discover and grow. At Peutergroep Pino, children learn important skills through play that prepare them for primary school. We focus on social skills such as taking turns, playing together and sharing. Additionally, we stimulate language development through the Noplica language playhouse located on the playground of De Bloemberg primary school. Here, children aged 2 to 6 learn the Dutch language through music, interactive stories and games. Nature plays an important role in our daily activities. We have our own garden with many plants that we regularly tend to. The toddlers help care for the plants under the guidance of our pedagogical staff. Behind our garden lies an enclosed forest that we have adopted, where we regularly take the children on adventures. These nature experiences contribute to their development and teach them respect for the environment. As a VVE-certified location, we offer Preschool Education (VE). This means we pay extra attention to the development of language, motor skills, mathematics and social skills. Our pedagogical staff provide challenging and playful activities that match each child's level and interests. We work in small groups with a maximum of 16 children, allowing us to provide plenty of personal attention. We are open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 1:15 PM to 4:15 PM. We are closed on Wednesday and Friday. During school holidays there is no childcare. We believe it's important for children to get used to a school rhythm and therefore only offer half-day childcare.
