Peuteropvang Pino

Peuteropvang Pino is a small-scale, welcoming preschool located in the monumental building of De Koekoek primary school at Koekoeksplein 1A in Utrecht's Vogelenbuurt. As part of Kind & Co Ludens, we provide care for up to 13 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our facility is officially registered as a daycare center with preschool education (VE), which means we pay extra attention to language development for children with a VE indication. We follow the Pedagogical Heart framework of Kind & Co Ludens, built on four core values: feeling good and having fun, growing and discovering, a rich environment, and togetherness. Through play, toddlers learn new words, practice speaking and listening, and get acquainted with the Dutch language. We offer a safe and stimulating environment where children have space to explore and grow. Our spacious and bright group room is located in a characteristic building over 100 years old. We have a beautiful outdoor area where children can play and discover the world around them. As a true neighborhood preschool, almost all our toddlers come from the immediate area. While we operate independently from De Koekoek primary school, we regularly collaborate with them. Most children transition to this primary school after their time with us. Peuteropvang Pino is closed during school holidays. Our dedicated team is ready every day with enthusiasm to guide the toddlers in their development and prepare them for a flying start at primary school.
