Peuteropvang Op Dreef

Peuteropvang Op Dreef is located within primary school Op Dreef at Dianadreef 27 in Utrecht-Overvecht. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in two horizontal groups: Merlijn and Tinkerbel. Our location works closely with the primary school, making the transition to elementary education as smooth as possible for your child. Play is central to our approach: you become wise through play! We work child-centered with fixed themes aligned with primary school education. Our pedagogical staff members Kim, Sanne and Bilge provide a language-rich environment where every child feels at home and can be themselves. We prepare your child for elementary school through play-based learning using pre-school education (VE) according to the Up & Puk method. Children with a VE indication are observed twice a year using the KIJK method, allowing us to better align with their development. Our two spacious classrooms feature various play areas and open onto our own toddler playground where children can explore, climb, clamber and cycle. We also use the school's movement room. Physical activity is important to us: we incorporate movement activities and have a movement box with fun materials. Parents can also borrow our sleepover box to continue the movement activities at home. We provide two eating moments: a fruit moment and lunch time, all provided by us. We make these enjoyable moments where children learn to pour their own drink or spread their own cracker. If there's a mess, no problem - we clean it up together. Parents are actively involved in our community. We invite you twice a year for a 10-minute conversation. Additionally, we organize three parent-child outings per year: a library visit, a library visit to us, and a school trip in the neighborhood. Daily play-in sessions allow parents to join their child's play and connect with other parents.
