Peuteropvang Oog in Al has been a trusted, professional place for all toddlers for 42 years. We are located in a detached building on a green inner courtyard at Petristraat 2A, right in the Oog in Al district. Around our house you will find vegetable gardens, two playgrounds with sandboxes and climbing equipment, and a large, adventurous garden with a hut, a hill, a climbing tree with swing and even an apple tree. Here children can discover, play and enjoy the fresh air every morning. Inside we welcome the children in two warm, cozy playrooms. Soft colors, atmospheric lighting, play corners and toys made of natural materials give our spaces a homely feel. In our mixed toddler groups (2-4 years), toddlers learn to play, grow and learn with and from each other. We work with a balanced morning program in which action and rest, free and joint activities alternate. Nature, the seasons and the celebrations of the year are always our source of inspiration: in each room there is a seasonal table where the children can see and experience what the season has to offer. Parents are very welcome with us. We are happy to talk about your child's development and mutual expectations. Parents help as parent helpers, during the play drop-in, at parent meetings or with practical chores. In this way we create a close, involved community together. The continuous line to primary school is important to us: we work closely with schools in the area and coordinate our pedagogical policy with each other, so that your child can make the transition from toddler group to school smoothly.
