Peuteropvang Marcus

Peuteropvang Marcus is located in the bright yellow building of the Marcusschool at Mayadreef 1 in Utrecht-Overvecht. As part of Kind&co ludens, we provide pre-school education for toddlers aged 2 to 4. Our location accommodates 14 children and uses a horizontal group structure, bringing children together in age-based groups. We believe every child deserves a good start. That’s why we are committed every day to equal development opportunities. Our pedagogical staff guide toddlers with language and development games, helping them grow socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically through play. We read aloud, sing, draw and move. There is a strong focus on language stimulation, as a solid language base makes the transition to primary school easier. Our spaces are furnished with natural play materials and an inspiring range of activities. We find it important that children feel comfortable and have fun. During the day, children receive a healthy bread meal, fruit and drinks. We take allergies and other dietary needs into account. There is a quiet sleeping area for those who need a rest and a safe courtyard for outdoor play. Peuteropvang Marcus works closely with the primary school and the child health clinic. This way, we align our activities with what the children will need later. Parents are warmly invited to come and take a look or to register immediately. Together we colour your child’s future!
