Welcome to Peutergroep Kameleon Maarssen, located in the primary school De Kameleon building at Duivenkamp 549 in Maarssen. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a modern and fresh environment. Our classroom is set up with various challenging play corners, where we work with themes and provide plenty of play materials. Besides our own classroom, we have access to a playroom and a large playground. We follow the Pedagogical Heart of Kind & Co Ludens, based on four core values: feeling comfortable and having fun, growing and discovering, a rich environment, and togetherness. We believe it's important that children feel safe and secure, creating space for development. We give children confidence and room to explore and be curious. Playing is discovering and learning, which is why we actively provide an inspiring and challenging environment. Our childcare is a mini-society where we care for each other. Peutergroep Kameleon offers preschool education (VE) to properly prepare children for primary school. In addition to regular children, we also welcome children using a VE placement. These children attend four sessions per week. We use horizontal groups, where children of the same age play and learn together. During school holidays, the toddler care is closed. We offer care in half-day sessions, allowing parents to flexibly choose half days. Our location is easily accessible and we work closely with De Kameleon primary school, sharing the same building.
