Peuteropvang Dozijntje

Peutergroep Dozijntje is located in Het Kwartier, a spacious facility on the edge of the village of Werkhoven. We provide toddler care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our large play area features various fun play corners, and we make daily use of the dedicated toddler playroom. For days with less favorable weather, we have our own indoor play hall where children can play to their heart's content. Outside, we have a paved outdoor play area with sandbox, climbing frame, bikes and tractors. Here toddlers can enjoy fresh air and play while discovering nature. Each year we organize fun activities such as visits to see lambs or the fire brigade. During carnival, the local council of eleven comes to visit us. We work according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&co ludens. This means we give children space to develop through play and discovery. Our rich environment offers challenging materials and activities that connect with toddlers' world of experience. Together we learn through play how to interact with each other and the world around us. Peutergroep Dozijntje also offers Pre-school Education (VE). We pay extra attention to Dutch language development through the Uk & Puk program. Children learn to speak, listen and discover new words. This provides excellent preparation for primary school. Our experienced pedagogical staff guide the children with great care and attention in small groups.
