Peutergroep De Speelboom

Peuterspeelgroep De Speelboom is located at CBS De Bongerd, Patrijs 28 in Ridderkerk. We provide care for up to 16 toddlers per day in one horizontal group. Our doors are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and we are closed during school holidays and public holidays. Everything at our location revolves around peace and rhythm. Every child is different, and we take this into account. Daily routines include fixed elements: we start together in a circle, followed by an activity, and then there's time for free play. Yet every day is also different, as we look at what your child needs. If they're tired and need rest, they get it - whether that's in a quiet corner or on someone's lap. Our activities are varied and age-appropriate for toddlers. We sing songs, make music, and do arts and crafts with various materials. Additionally, all children participate in 'Toddlers in Motion', where we work on motor development through play. For some lessons, we receive guidance from a teacher from Welzijn Ridderkerk. We work with a fixed team of two childcare professionals, each with their own talents. Together with parents, we guide the child through these important toddler years. Our location has its own outdoor playground where children can get fresh air daily and run around. Peuterspeelgroep De Speelboom is for all children, regardless of which primary school they will attend later. We believe it's important that every child feels safe and at home with us. That's why open communication and collaboration with parents are central to our approach.
