Peutergroep De Meibloem

Peutergroep De Meibloem is a small-scale toddler group located in the Meijhorst district of Nijmegen. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our facility is housed in the same building as Daltonacademy De Meiboom, allowing children to become familiar with a school setting from an early age. We offer a stimulating environment where your child has plenty of space to play and discover. Our play areas include a reading corner with books, a block corner for building towers, a home corner for role-play, and a dress-up corner. We regularly introduce new themes and adapt the decoration of each corner to match, ensuring everything connects to what the children are learning and experiencing. Outdoor play is an essential part of our programme. We have a lovely, naturally designed garden featuring a sand hill and climbing ropes. Running, cycling, or simply playing in the sand or grass – it’s all possible. Outdoor play is not only healthy but also great fun. Peutergroep De Meibloem implements Early Childhood Education (VE). All our pedagogical staff hold a Dalton certificate and provide challenging, playful activities tailored to each child’s level and interests. We place special emphasis on language development, social skills, motor skills, and numeracy, preparing your child for primary school in a playful manner. Our toddler group is part of KION, a trusted organisation with over 25 years of experience in childcare. We are registered in the National Childcare Register under number 122867518.
