Welcome to Peuteropvang De Meern, a facility of Kind & Co Ludens. We provide a special place for children aged 2.5 to 4 years to play and learn. Here, your toddler will have the opportunity to further develop language skills, social-emotional, and motor skills in a safe and stimulating environment. Your child will play with peers, which contributes to a smooth transition to primary school. Our toddler care has its own classroom, equipped with various play areas where toddlers can play, build, learn, and discover. We regularly use the gymnasium in the school, where we offer challenging physical activities that perfectly match the world of experience of toddlers. Our enclosed outdoor play area, located on the schoolyard, is a true playground with a large sandbox and a climbing frame where children can enjoy themselves for hours. We work with the recognized 'Uk & Puk' method, which means we work thematically. For several weeks, we focus on one theme and come up with all sorts of fun activities and games that tie into it. This way, children learn new words and skills in a playful manner. Peuteropvang De Meern is a location with pre-school education (VE). This means that for children with a VE indication, we pay extra attention to the Dutch language: speaking, listening, and learning new words. We do this because children at a young age can learn a language quickly and easily, which is important for a good start in primary school.
