Peutergroep De Kleine Planeet

Peutergroep De Kleine Planeet is located on the ground floor of Jenaplan primary school De Kleine Planeet at Rielerweg 174 in Deventer. We provide toddler care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years, 40 weeks per year, on weekdays from 08:30 to 12:30. Drop-off is between 08:30 and 08:45, pick-up between 12:15 and 12:30. Our pedagogical approach seamlessly aligns with the school's Jenaplan philosophy: the world is our classroom. We follow a consistent daily rhythm centered on play, discovery and social interaction. Through play, toddlers are challenged to explore. Together we create art projects, learn to cooperate and discover our own abilities. Independence is encouraged by letting children choose, take and tidy up themselves, always within safe boundaries appropriate to their age and development. Our activities focus on language and speech development, creative expression and social skills. We emphasize playing together, having conversations together and celebrating together. The direct connection with the primary school provides children with a smooth continuous developmental line. Preschool education (VVE) is fully integrated into our daily program. As a parent you are actively involved in the life of the toddler group. We believe it's important that parents and pedagogical staff work together on each child's development. Our spacious, bright classrooms and safe outdoor space provide all opportunities for a rich play and learning environment.
