Peutergroep de Kaketoe

Welcome to Peutergroep de Kaketoe, part of Stichting Quadrant Kindercentra, located at Willem de Zwijgersingel 220 in Gouda Noord. In this small-scale toddler group we provide care for up to 16 children from 27 months to 4 years old. Our location has recently moved from Kindcentrum de Kwikstaart and is situated in a dedicated room with a separate side entrance to the school. We focus on the playful development of toddlers. From a safe environment, children can expand their world, discover new challenges and make connections with other children and adults outside their family circle. We offer an active range of play materials and activities tailored to toddler development. Our pedagogical staff closely follow each child's development and talents and regularly discuss these with parents. Peutergroep de Kaketoe works with Early Childhood Education (VVE), where we provide extra stimulation for children's language and cognitive development. We do this through targeted activities that connect with the world of experience of toddlers. We pay attention to various developmental areas such as social skills, motor skills and language development. Our toddler playgroup is a place where children learn and grow through play. We create a secure environment that is safe yet challenging, allowing children to develop optimally. Together with parents, we work on their child's development, with our motto being: 'together for the child'.
