Peutergroep de Groene Vlinder is part of Royal Kids Home and is located at Ericaplein 11 in Capelle aan den IJssel. We provide care for 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our toddler group is a VE group, which stands for Early Childhood Education. This means we support the development of language, motor skills and social abilities through play – the perfect preparation for primary school. We work closely with De Groen van Prinsterer primary school, offering a seamless transition in your child’s development. The location is situated within the school building, ensuring a smooth move to primary education. Our professional staff are dedicated and caring, ready to provide your child with loving care and stimulation in a safe and enriching environment. We use themes that align with the seasons and the children’s world of experience. These themes guide our activities and provide variety and challenge. Examples include themes like ‘autumn’ or ‘a trip around the world’. Through this approach, we foster curiosity, creativity and all-round development in your child. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00. We believe it’s important for children to have time to settle in. That’s why we offer a gentle settling-in period, always in consultation with parents. This creates a trusted foundation for your child.
