Peuteropvang De Cirkel

Welcome to Peuteropvang De Cirkel, located at Prinses Margrietstraat 124 in Utrecht’s Zuilen district. We are part of Kind & Co Ludens and provide toddler care with preschool education (VE) for children aged 2 to 4. Play-based learning is at the heart of our approach: children explore and experience in a safe, homely setting. We use the Uk & Puk method, a recognised educational programme that integrates language development, social-emotional growth, sensory and motor development and early numeracy skills. Themes are aligned with De Cirkel primary school to ensure a smooth transition. Each morning we gather in a circle to discuss the day’s theme, followed by activities such as drawing, singing, reading aloud and movement. Regular excursions – to the petting farm, library or Kidzcity – are often organised together with the school’s kindergarten children. Peaceful coexistence is important to us. Through a puppet play featuring monkey and tiger, children learn to resolve conflicts and show consideration for others. Parents are warmly invited to share their talents: you can help with sports, crafts or organise an activity. Together we create a warm community where every child feels seen and valued.
