Peuteropvang de Blokkendoos

Peuteropvang de Blokkendoos is located at Maasplein 1 in Utrecht-Rivierenwijk, right next to the Maasplein shopping centre. We are part of Kind & Co Ludens, the largest non-profit childcare organisation in the Netherlands. We welcome children aged 2 to 4 in a safe, homely group with a maximum of 16 toddlers. We use an official Early Childhood Education (VVE) programme. Through themed activities we stimulate Dutch language skills: speaking, listening and learning new words. Children also enjoy singing, story time, drawing and plenty of outdoor play in our own garden. All activities are designed to let children learn through play, perfectly suited to curious toddlers. Children with a VVE indication can attend up to 16 hours per week, spread over four morning or afternoon sessions (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday). For children without an indication we offer two 4-hour sessions per week; parents can choose Monday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday. This flexible approach ensures every child can develop at their own pace and start primary school with confidence. We warmly invite you and your toddler for a personal tour and introduction.
