Peutercombi voorschool de Haven is located at IJzerwerkerstraat 7 in Amsterdam-Noord and is part of Stichting Combiwel voor Kinderen. We provide childcare with a strong emphasis on early childhood education for toddlers aged 2 to 4. Our location offers a maximum of 16 places, divided into two small-scale groups: ‘De Oceaan’ and ‘De Zee’. These groups are specifically designed for children who need additional support and operate in close collaboration with the specialized childcare services of Cordaan. We follow a calm and predictable daily routine centered around play, learning, discovery and experience. The group spaces are warmly and clearly arranged, giving each child a sense of safety and security. We offer sensory and developmental activities tailored to the individual needs of every child. Our pedagogical staff work closely with specialized professionals from Cordaan youth care, creating a unique blend of childcare and youth support under one roof. Our setting includes a spacious garden and additional play and development areas provided by Cordaan. This outdoor space offers ample opportunities for movement, play and nature exploration. We also have access to a snoezel room, a low-stimulus space with special lighting, and a movement room with climbing and play equipment. Every Friday, we host a parent and child gathering where parents and children can play together and share experiences. Peutercombi voorschool de Haven is open on Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday, from 08:30 to 14:30 (De Oceaan) or 08:30 to 13:30 (De Zee). We operate 43 weeks per year. Registration is handled through the local Parent and Child team, and a support plan is required for additional services. The basis is regular childcare, with parental contributions based on income.
