Peutercombi voorschool Blijhaven

Peutercombi voorschool Blijhaven is located at Papaverweg 259 in Amsterdam-Noord, beautifully situated on the banks of the River IJ in a brand-new building. We are a pre-school (Early Childhood Education) for children aged 2 to 4 and work closely with the public primary school Blijhaven. In small groups of up to 16 children, we give every child the individual attention they deserve. Our programme is designed to prepare toddlers for primary school through play. We follow a consistent daily rhythm centred on ‘Play & Learn’ and ‘Discover & Experience’. Through varied themes we stimulate language skills and overall development. We use materials, toys and activities that engage the senses and support each child’s development. The pre-school is open 40 weeks a year on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. The approach and curriculum of Peutercombi voorschool Blijhaven dovetail seamlessly with the school’s Year 1 and 2 classes, ensuring children start their school career with confidence.
