Peutercentrum De Vuurvliegjes

Peutercentrum De Vuurvliegjes is located on the grounds of primary school Het Kompas at Heerenduinweg 45 in IJmuiden. We provide toddler care for up to 28 children aged 2 to 4 years, divided into two toddler groups: Moon and Stars. Our location works closely with Het Kompas primary school and Waldorf aan Zee. We use the preschool education program Startblokken and the parent involvement program VVE at home. We regularly organize meetings for parents to discuss their child's development. The children go on excursions to the beautiful forest across the road. Here they learn about nature through play while developing their imagination and motor skills. We work with age groups, with toddlers playing and learning in two separate groups. Please note: registering your child at our toddler center does not automatically register them for primary school. You need to register your child separately for primary school.
