Peutercentrum De Vlinder

Peutercentrum De Vlinder is located at Heirweg 2C in Velsen-Noord and is part of Zoople Velsen B.V. We provide toddler care for up to 32 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our centre works closely with primary school De Plataan and after-school care BSO de Boomhut in the same building, ensuring a continuous and familiar environment. We use the VVE programme Startblokken, focused on language stimulation and a smooth transition to primary school. Through thematic activities, stories, songs and play we support each child’s development. Our two toddler groups – Rups and Bloem – are decorated in cheerful colours and offer space for both rest and activity. Parents are actively involved through the parent participation programme VVE thuis and monthly parent meetings. We are also an official BoekStart location in collaboration with Library Velsen: a reading corner is available on site and regular reading activities are organised for children and parents. Our opening hours during school weeks are 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.; half-day care from 7.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. is possible. During school holidays we offer holiday care.
