Peutercentrum De Trommelaar

Peutercentrum De Trommelaar is located in the De Laar West district of Arnhem, at Brabantweg 115. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in two spacious, bright classrooms. Our location is part of Stichting Peutercentra Arnhem. Everything we do revolves around learning through play. We use the VVE program Uk & Puk, which is integrated into all activities. Children participate in toddler gym: they can jump, run, roll and climb. This is not only fun, but also beneficial for their motor development and a great preparation for kindergarten gym at school. Inside we have set up different play areas. Children can discover what they enjoy and where their talents lie. We have a home corner, construction area and arts & crafts section. Our pedagogical staff give each child the space to grow and discover at their own pace. Outside we have a large, enclosed playground. Here children can play on the slide, in the sandbox or with outdoor toys. We believe outdoor play is important: children get space to move and discover nature. We work with a fixed daily schedule that provides structure. The small group size ensures plenty of personal attention. Our location has been officially registered since June 1, 2014 in the National Childcare Register under number 248881930. We have space for up to 32 children.
