Peutercentrum de Santenkraam

Peutercentrum de Santenkraam is located at ’t Höfke 4 in the heart of Herveld. We are a small-scale toddler centre welcoming up to 16 children per session. Our service is designed for children aged 2 to 4 who attend in fixed morning combinations. Every weekday from 08:15 to 12:15 our qualified pedagogical staff are ready to offer your child a safe and stimulating environment. We follow the Early Childhood Education programme (VVE). This means we provide targeted activities that match the developmental stage of toddlers. Language and speech are central, but we also foster social skills and independence. We achieve this through play, singing, reading aloud and exploring in our generous natural outdoor area. The garden invites movement and discovery; children can dig in the sand, move water and observe plants growing and blooming. Our approach is development-oriented and personal. We take every toddler seriously and follow his or her own pace. There is room for personal ideas and initiatives. Fruit and drinks are included during the session.
