Peutercentrum De Drie Turven

Peutercentrum De Drie Turven is located in the community centre ‘De Dwarsligger’ at Planetenweg 338 in IJmuiden, right next to primary schools De Pleiaden, De Origon and De Zefier. We offer small-scale, horizontal toddler groups for a maximum of 16 children aged 2 to 4. Our team of VVE-qualified pedagogical professionals work according to the Startblokken method. Every morning we follow a fixed daily rhythm in which play, discovery and language are central. We sing together, read picture books and regularly go on excursions to the forest, the beach or the playground. Parents receive theme letters with tips and photos via our app, so they can continue working on the same words, songs and activities at home. We believe a warm collaboration with parents and schools is essential: at the start we visit toddlers at home and invite parents to join in the group. Together we ensure that every child starts primary school with confidence and a broad foundation.
