Peuteropvang Peuterboot

Peuterboot is a small-scale toddler day-care located at Schelpenhoek 170 in Diemen-Zuid, just a stone's throw from the Kruidenhof shopping centre. We offer a safe and familiar place where children aged 2 to 4 can grow and develop through play. Our goal is to give every child the space to flourish at their own pace. At Peuterboot we work with a fixed horizontal group structure. This means that children come together in a small group of a maximum of 15 toddlers with peers. This set-up provides peace and overview, so that every child receives the attention they deserve. Our pedagogical staff know each child inside and out and tailor activities to the developmental stage of the group. We provide pre-school education (VE), in which we work playfully on language development, social skills and independence. Our rooms are furnished with different play corners that invite discovery and creativity – think of a construction corner, a dolls' corner and a reading corner with picture books. Outside we have a safe playground where children can run, cycle and play with sand and water. Peuterboot works with fixed sessions. Children can come to play on fixed mornings or afternoons, which provides a familiar rhythm. We find it important that parents and children quickly feel at home with us. That is why we use a personal approach and short lines of communication with parents. Together we ensure that every child enjoys coming to Peuterboot and goes home with a smile.
