Peuter Bas

Peuter Bas is the pre-school playgroup located within Pieter Bas primary school at Dakotaweg 65 in Capelle aan den IJssel. We provide a warm, safe and stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 4 years. At Peuter Bas, learning and development through play is central. Through targeted activities, children develop important skills in language, motor skills and social interaction. Our qualified pedagogical staff lovingly guide each child, ensuring they can grow at their own pace. We offer Early Childhood Education (VVE) using the 'Uk en Puk' method. The themed activities seamlessly connect with the curriculum of groups 1/2, ensuring a smooth transition to primary school. We work closely with the early-years teachers to provide a continuous learning pathway. Being located within the same building as Pieter Bas primary school creates a familiar and secure environment. Children have access to the green school playground where they can play and explore freely. We value strong collaboration with parents. Through regular conversations and updates, we keep parents informed about their child's development. Together, we ensure every child can reach their full potential. The group accommodates a maximum of 16 children. Children can attend 4 times per week: 2 mornings from 08:00 – 11:30, 2 afternoons from 12:00 – 15:00 and once on Wednesday from 08:00 – 12:00.
