Welcome to daycare Petteflet, a small-scale, home-like centre right in the heart of lively Ginneken market in Breda. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in two clear groups: one for babies (0-2 years) and one for toddlers (2-4 years). This set-up offers calm and familiarity, allowing every child to grow at his or her own pace. Our professional staff create a safe, warm environment every day where play and development go hand in hand. We sing together, build with blocks, do puzzles, finger-paint and explore the world outside. We often take the Kiddybus for short trips: buying flowers at the market, playing on Valkeniersplein or romping in Mastbos and Laurentiuspark. In this playful way children learn about nature, colours, shapes and social interaction. At Petteflet everything is included in one hourly rate: nappies, meals and drinks, fresh fruit and healthy snacks, plus all extra activities and outings. We use the Parent App so you can catch a glimpse of your child’s day while you are at work. We also offer early-years education (VVE) to support toddlers’ language and cognitive development from an early age.
