BSO Petit Maupertuus

BSO Petit Maupertuus is a small-scale after-school care facility operated by SKDD, located in its own building on the lower school playground of Christelijke Basisschool Coolsma at Coolsmalaan 5 in Driebergen-Rijsenburg. We provide care specifically for the youngest children of CBS Coolsma, aged 4 to approximately 6 years. The location is therefore a familiar place for your child, right next to the school. Our after-school care consists of one group with space for a maximum of 20 children. This small-scale setup ensures a calm and manageable start to the after-school period. We always begin the afternoon with a quiet moment where children have something to eat and drink, and there is plenty of attention for whatever is on their minds at that moment. Then we engage in various challenging indoor and outdoor activities that perfectly match the world of experience and developmental stages of young children. Sports, nature and music activities play a central role with us. We offer plenty of challenge weekly in a familiar environment. Children can freely play with different materials such as sand, water, clay, beads, shaving foam, finger paint, paper and boxes. Additionally, there is ample space for outdoor play on the kindergarten playground and the large school playground. We believe in the importance of success experiences and let each child develop at their own pace. Our experienced and enthusiastic team provides children with a beautiful balance of security and challenge in a cozy environment. We work according to a pedagogical work plan developed within SKDD's pedagogical policy. During school holidays, we also offer an engaging and enjoyable activity program, making use of familiar staff and fixed holiday groups as much as possible.
